So i havnt written in a lil while... just thought 'd update ya'll a bit...
but im ubber tired and should prolly go to bed soon cause i have to wake up ubber early...
anywho, so i started my classes (not all of them just some)
Revelation, acts, pcs...
and today was my pcs which is like a service class, you go out and serve some where and mine is to go to "Murrieta Gardens" which is an old folks home... and today was my first day and i wasnt expecting it to be such a blessing... i talked to some sweet older women who where like 97 and 94.. they LOVED my red hair and they LOVED my name... haha one lil old lady asked what my name was and i was like Brandi and she was like "oh my i love brandi" and all the older people started to laugh.... and i was like ummm yea! ha (i dont think she ment my name) ;-)
anyway i played blackjack with them... and i must say im pretty dang diddy good... haha they were all trying to keep up with me!
but it was cool cause some are christians and they were talking to me about the Lord and i was like next time i come i can sit and read you the bible... (i mean gosh how much fun would that be)
and they were all like yea!! you should come back tomorr... AHH old people are SO cute! i love them.... needless to say it was a wonderful time. :)
welllllll i was reading a book today and i saw this and thought it was neato....

my brain hurts... i did to many things today for just one day.... so i cant think... anyway ill write more when im awake and had some coffee...! goodnight ya'll

What matters....
"Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, Let not the mighty man glory in his might, Nor let the rich man glory in his riches; but let him who glories glory in this, that he understands and knows Me, that I am the Lord, exercising lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness in the earth. For in these I delight," says the Lord.
Jeremiah 9:23-24
You know I was meditating on this verse... and it shows us not to glory in that of our own self, such as being wise or mighty... we cannt take glory in anything cause we have nothing in our own power and self to take glory in, for all the glory belongs to Him and Him alone.... we can not take any credit for anything.... for it is not in ourseleves that we are rich or wise an mighty... but it comes from Him
for if we are to glory in anything let it be in our sweet Jesus, that we may strive to understand and know Him in an intimate way... God takes great delight when He sees His children yearning after Him and this is what we were created for... to glory in our Lord.
You know so many people tell me that I am just wasting my time in going to a "non credited school" (bible college) but if you truly think about it, they are the ones who are wasting there time, what is so great about knowledge or money or power when you do not know the Creator?
for it is pointless if all you have in life is a nice well payed job... or a brian that contains so much knowledge, if nothing goes beyond the here and now... for having a heart that desires and longs after the heart of God is more rewarding then any degree or money could ever come close too... so tell me then, who is the one at loss?
For Paul was a great and knowledgeable man, with lots of power.. but in Philippians 3 verse 7 tells us that ...."what things were gain to me, these i have counted loss for Christ. Yet indeed I also count all things loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as rubbish that I may gain Christ."
You see compared to our sweet Jesus everything is rubbish/worthless. when you see the big picture of it all and what truly matter in the end you became immune to what the world has to offer and what the world sees as "worthy" and this is the truth we all need to realize.
We are here for one purpose... To gain Christ that we might share Him with the world, to gain heaven, and to be able to abide in Him forever!

college life
Hey ya'll,
im back at bible college in murrieta and i've only been here for 4 days (havnt started school yet btw) but its AMAZING!!
i love it here... the compus, the people, the atmosphere... its like your in this little bubble of life surrounded by people who have the same desire and passion about the Lord as you do and its just an amazing experience!
i was laying in bed thinking the other night saying to God i wish this is how life could be like... i wish that everybody could have the same desire and love for the Lord, when you have a hard day or when you just begin to feel weak there is always someone there to lift you up and encourage you in the truth of His word... or to pray for you.. and i was like THIS is how it should be... if only everywhere in the world could be like this...
then i felt God speak to me saying.... well then why dont you/christians begin to spread my word more, if we are devoted to God and love Him with every being in us, then we ought to be sharing this with the world and if somelse catches on fire from the fire that you have in your heart then the world around us could start to be this passionate loven God world and it would be a gliss of what heaven is like.... ah Yes, heaven i await the day! what a wonderful place it will be... surrounded by people who love the very thing that you love and see Him as you see Him!
p.s i just found out that i am lactose intolerant.... and i cant eat ANYTHING!!! ah
